About the Role

Our client, a small but growing hotel in Isinya Town, is looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Waitress to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure customers receive the correct orders and attend to their needs during their visit.
• Clear and clean tables and ensure the dining area is neat and presentable at all times.
• Set up tables and maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and escalate issues to the supervisor where necessary.
• Process or assist with customer bills and payments as required.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and provide feedback to the supervisor.
• Assist with general hotel duties when required to support smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils and service equipment.
• Assist with stock monitoring and report shortages or wastage to the supervisor.
• Follow all hotel procedures relating to hygiene, food safety, customer service and workplace conduct.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a waitress, hotel attendant or restaurant service staff is an advantage.
• Must be flexible and willing to support other hotel operations when required.
